Providing adequate allergen information and preventing contamination is essential to protect consumers from risk, and this course enables learners to take the necessary measures to minimise this.
Corse Content
This course gives learners the information needed to maintain control of food ingredients at every stage of the process, and to communicate the information needed to consumers, effectively reducing risk of allergen contamination.

This qualification is aimed at learners responsible for the purchase, delivery, production and service of food in the catering industry. It is also suitable for those owning/managing a smaller catering business.
Assessment
Learners must complete 30 questions within 60 minutes and answer 60% (18 questions) correctly. A pass mark of 80% (24/30) merits a distinction.
