Why this course is needed?

This course is a requirement for supervisors in catering and food manufacture, and is designed especially for managers and supervisors of food handlers, to enable their business to comply with legislation, and establish and maintain good food practice across the board.

 


 

Course Content

Topics include ensuring compliance with food safety legislation, the application and monitoring of good hygiene practice, how to implement food safety management procedures and the application and monitoring of good practice regarding contamination, microbiology and temperature control.

Duration of course

25 hours

Ideal for

Supervisors, Managers, Business owners, Kitchen managers, Catering managers, Cafe managers, and Head chefs.

Assessment

Learners must complete 45 questions within 90 minutes, and must achieve 66% to pass and 80% to be awarded a distinction.
