Why this course is needed?

Hazard analysis and Critical Control Points is essential for maintaining food safety during the production process and keeping food safe from biological, chemical and physical hazards that can cause it to become unsafe.


 

Course Content

Attendees will learn the principles of HACCP, hazard analysis, CCP identification, establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, verification procedures, and record-keeping and documentation.

This course is aimed at those working in a food catering environment and other food handlers. The qualification is intended for those already working in catering and those who are preparing to work in the industry.

Assessment

Candidates must answer 15 questions in 30 minutes and achieve 60% to pass.
